Recently we have been working hard towards achieving the BRC Agents & Brokers standard and we are now excited to announce that our audit will be taking place in April. We believe that achieving the Agents & Brokers standard will assure our customers of our unrelenting commitment to Food Safety, Quality and Service, it will also ensure that all of our customers who are audited under the scope of BRC Issue 7 for food manufacturing comply with the Agents & Brokers clause.
As a result of the process of working towards the BRC Agents & Brokers standard we have updated and improved our already robust quality systems, this will be continually monitored in order to keep up to date with any changes that come in to effect. All of our products are sourced only from producers and suppliers who can demonstrate the highest standards in food safety and we work closely with our suppliers to ensure that these high quality standards are always maintained or exceeded. We have a stringent supplier approval process with food safety to the fore. Ethical and Environmental aspects are also covered within our approval system.
It has been a fantastic learning experience for all at Global Foods & Provisions and we are very proud to announce that we have 2 members of our team, Guy Thomason and Richard Hanson who are now trained and qualified in the principles of HACCP.
